Another Blog

While waiting to hear back from Sacramento on our appeal date, I am getting restless. I try to find things to do to keep myself busy, but that is not always easy.

I created another blog, not one I will update to often, but one that talks more about us and our family. I thought I would share it with you all. You can share your opinions here on this post (regarding the other blog, if you would like to)

Oh, Kristi! I am so so terribly sorry that you were denied. I only have explicits to share but will refrain. I do not understand the reasoning, particularly with licensing. Licensing was the easiest part for us, it was the adoption side we felt we were under the microscope and told we didn't have enough experience with children thus they weren't sure whether we should be granted to adopt. More explicits insert here. But our understanding is that is truly is each social workers bias as to whether they pick you or not. Now to me that is such a crying shame is absolutely unfair, as you can see.

I was hoping for good news when I returned to your site. Well, I am hoping for good news when it comes to your appeal. I would keep fighting regardless. Or go through another avenue of adoption.

We had friends who went through a private adoption and they were run ragged for over a year until they were denied. Then they decided to try the county Options For Recovery program and they were instant parents in less than 4mos later. And I think all who were in our class did end up getting children, fairly quickly after our class ended. Soooo, I pray for you both and for the appeal and for what's next to come. Hang in there!!!!

It will work out some how, some way...

Thinking of you -
